I have received no survey and when I request one from BackerKit, nothing shows up. What do I do?
Here are the troubleshooting steps for anyone else encountering this rare issue:

Login to https://www.kickstarter.com/settings/account and see what your email address is set to.

Go to your inbox for the email address that is listed. Also check your Junk and/or Spam folders.

Search for [email protected] in your email. Be sure to add it to your address book or safe list.

Go to https://carly-kjelstrom-project.backerkit.com and enter your Kickstarter email address and click “Get My Survey.” Repeat steps 1-3.

If you have changed your email address in Kickstarter recently, the BackerKit pledge manager may have your old email address. Please check the inbox and Junk/Spam folders for your old address if you have access to it.

If you no longer have access to the email address used, or if your address is a “@privaterelay.appleid.com” address, please take a screenshot that includes your pledge details and Backer ID # / Pledge Number and send this screenshot with your preferred email address and BackerKit username included in the body of the email to [email protected].

If all else fails, email [email protected] and let them know you’ve already gone through these steps. Please know that support response times vary.

How long do I have to fill out my survey?
Surveys will lock March 11, 2023. Please be sure to fill out your survey as soon as possible after receiving it.
Any surveys that haven’t been completed by May 2023 will forfeit their pledge and will not be refunded. This is because I cannot keep my surveys open indefinitely to wait for backers to put in their shipping address.

Remind me about the pins and the display
The pins are individually 1.5” tall and filled with hard enamel. The moon pin has silver plated metal, and the sun pin has gold plated metal. There are two posts on the back of each pin.
The display is 3.25 inches wide and tall, and about .25 inches thick. One side of each display is made from red duro wood, and the other is maple duro wood. The center layer is 2mm thick black felt. The slot is 2” wide and tall to fit the Sun & Moon pins and neatly frame them on your wall. Plus, you won’t have to lose your pin backs in some baggie, because you will attach the clasp to the pin through the felt!

When will my pledge ship?
Pledges are expected to ship no later than middle of May 2023.
UPDATE MARCH 27, 2023: 148 pledges have already shipped! Filled surveys will be shipped within 48 hours. Unfilled surveys that are incomplete by May 2023 will have pledges forfeited and be considered kind donations.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
